Rules

A. To sign up, e-mail at [email protected]. Please type in your name that you want to go by, e-mail, and the class that you want.

B. If you choose:
Warrior - High Strength, Low Defense
Cleric - High HP, Low Strength
Wizard - High Speed, Low HP
Thief - High Speed, Low Special
Commoner - High Special, Low HP

About the Strength/Defense/Special:
1. Strength and Special are used for certain weapon/abilities. Defense is used to block part or all of the strength/special attacks used in the fight. For example, Royal Blast is 4 * strength - defense. If your strength is 5 and your opponent's defense is 10, this is how it will work.
4(5) - 10 = ?
20 - 10 = 10 damage

About the Speed:
2. Speed decides who gets to go first. Just because you have a higher speed does not mean you get to go first. The special randomizer program on my computer will give me a number to add on to your speed score. The one with the highest score will go first. Remember: Distraction points could be very useful in things like this.
Example:(Quarterfinal Battle Outlaw v. Sinn)
Outlaw - Speed: 7 + 2 Distraction used + 5 Randomizer = 14
Sinn - Speed: 3 + 7 Distraction used + 6 Randomizer = 16
Despite Sinn's disadvantage at speed, Sinn would go first.

About the Accuracy/Evade:
3. Accuracy decides whether your attack hits or misses. There is only one of two ways that it could be 100% accurate. Either one, if your accuracy is higher than your opponent's evade, or two, if your accuracy is lower than 1/6 of your opponent's evade. If your accuracy is higher than 1/6 of your opponent's evade, the randomizer program will give me a number to multiply to your accuracy. If it is higher than the evade, it hits, if not, it misses.
Example:
Outlaw - Accuracy: 20 * 2 Randomizer = 40
Sinn - Evade: 35
Despite Outlaw's disadvantage at Accuracy, the attack would do damage. At this point, there are no other ways to determine whether an attack has hit or missed. A new technique will come out at the end of March.

About the Distraction:
4. Distraction gives you a chance to add to any of your stat points across the board. Every 5 levels, you get to choose which feature to boost up. The only feature that is not an option is distraction.

About the Attacks:
5. Every 7 levels for a warrior, 5 for a cleric, 5 for a wizard, 6 for a thief, and 7 for a commoner, you will learn a new attack. This attack can be used in battle. If you cannot wait till another level, what you can do is buy an attack book from the Mart. They range from $1000 to $6000.

About the Pictures:
6. A new feature of your stats is that you have the option to put a picture in your statpage. Just send in your picture and I will post it up on the place. This will help me to use these pictures instead of words in the later tournaments to come.

About the Battle:
7. The battle against another player is where you put your works into use. But, your attacks do not always have to be one-dimensional, for example, *attacks with hands*. You can be creative with your attack, like for example, if you use fireball, you can say *jumps into the air, and charges a fireball, and flings it at Mortrax*.

3. To battle a creature or player, e-mail at the same as the sign-up for now, since our town is still small. Ask for the creature or player you want to compete with, and for how much money.

4. Here is an example of a battle in the chat room. (Phoenix v. Aditi)
Scores go by HP [MP]
Referee: Phoenix: 15/15 [10/10] Aditi: 40/40 [25/25]
Phoenix: *Fireball*
Referee: 1 damage automatic.
Aditi: *Hi Jump Kick*
Referee: 15(Special) * 2 = 30 - 16(Phoenix Defense) = 14.
Referee: Phoenix: 1/15 [0/10] Aditi: 39/40 [22/25]
Aditi: *Spear*
Referee: Phoenix has been defeated. Aditi wins!

5. Here is an example of a creature battle in the chat room.

Referee: Phoenix: 15/15 [10/10] Goblin: 10/10 [0/0]
Phoenix: *Dagger*
Referee: 8 - 3 = 5 damage to Goblin.
Referee: Goblin uses Club 7 - 5 = 2 damage to Phoenix.
Referee: Phoenix: 13/15 [10/10] Goblin: 2/10 [0/0]
Phoenix: *Thunderjolt*
Referee: Goblin has been defeated. Phoenix gets 10 XP.
